I made this logo for Plan International. “Open Space Literacy (OSL) is an integrated, community-based literacy strategy. “Open Space” denotes a highly scalable, participative and adaptable model. The overall programme objective is to increase literacy skills of children in grades one to three in 300 schools in Kenya. ” Plan International
I had the pleasure of making a wall painting into a new flat, to take over the empty space, to start making it a home .
I painted this serpent just before my holiday began (some of you must have seen it already). Or, rather, the picture painted itself! Can you see it? There’s very little I actually did. The first version I sort of spoiled by making corrections and additions. The more effortless, the better.
This golden guy (okay, it’s ochre, my favourite colour to combine with blue lately) is from a series of paintings picturing “helpers”. Some of the paintings, like this, have actual yoga poses.
